 LEARN ITALIAN IN ROMEThe legend says that Rome was founded on April 21, 753 B.C by twins Romulus and Remus and this legend is supported by archaeological evidence.
 The climate in Rome is most comfortable from April through June and from September to October, the October period is known for its pleasant temperatures and sunny days. The average high temperature in December is about 13°C (55°F). The major religion of the city in antiquity is the Religio Romana. But there are other religions like the Judaism, whose presence in the city dates back from the Roman Republic, also is the Christianity, which despite of the persecution in the 4th century was legalised in 313 by Emperor Constantine I, and was made official religion of the Roman Empire in 380 B.C. Italian is the Roman Language, but before this the Latin was the original language of this country. Italian emerged as the confluence of various regional dialects, Tuscan was one of them, but the population of Rome also developed its own dialect named the Romanesco. This dialect is represented by actors such as Alberto Sordi, Gigi Proietti, Nino Manfredi, Enrico Montesano, Aldo Fabrizi and Carlo Verdone. The city of Rome is surrounded by a serie of seven hills: the Capitoline, Palatine, Viminal, Quirinal, Esquiline, Caelian, and Aventine hills. The city of Rome surrounds the Vatican City, the enclave of the Holy See, which is a separate sovereign state.
Rome has a lot of Architectural attractions, it is a monumental, busy capital and yet an appealingly relaxed place, with a centre that has yet to be taken over by chainstores and big multinational hotels.
One of the symbols of Rome is the Colosseum, the largest amphitheatre ever built in the Roman Empire. Originally capable of seating 50,000 spectators, it was used for gladiatorial combat. In Rome you can visit the most extensive museum collection in the world, the Vatican Museums, is also well known the Pantheon, this structure is one of the most complete ancient building and was finished around 125 B.C. In the 'centro storico' is The Church of Sant'Ignazio, another famous church is the Church of San Clemente, this is Rome's unique history in microcosm. Rome was a major world center of the Renaissance, and that left a profound mark on the city. The most impressive masterpiece of Renaissance architecture in Rome is the Piazza del Campidoglio by Michelangelo, with the Palazzo Senatorio, seat of the city government.
